Kim Kardashian Blasts Katie Couric's Gift to North West

Kim Kardashian is not accepting Katie Couric's gift for babyNorth West. On Friday, Aug. 16, the 32-year-old new momrevealed her displeasure with the veteran journalist by sharing on Instagram the Barney's New York purchase and personal note the TV personality sent.

The Katie show host sent what looks to be pajamas for the little one, born in June. "Dear Kim and Kanye, Congratulations on the birth of your baby girl!" the card read. "And may I humbly suggest you continue the K tradition."

Kardashian's outburst may have something to do with Couric's recent comments about the reality TV family. In mid-August, the host was quoted as saying she didn't understand why the Kardashians were famous.

Ironically, Couric, 56, interviewed Kardashian for Glamour in 2011 and was "pleasantly surprised" by the star. "A few years ago you might have heard Kim Kardashian’s name and said, 'Who?' That was then. Now her name rolls off our tongue (she was 2010’s most searched term on Bing, after all)," the veteran journalist wrote. "She's become a one-woman phenomenon and an industry. Everyone wants to keep up with this Kardashian."

Mormon Missionaries Play Pickup Basketball in Viral Video

You might not expect Mormon missionaries, in pressed white shirts, ties, and dress pants, to contest challengers in a pickup basketball game.  , at least when it comes to Brett Miyasaki and Zach Lambson. Both seasoned basketball players, they were doing missionary work in the Atlanta area when two other teens challenged them to a game. What resulted was the best of what sports can be. The match brought together two groups of disparate economic and cultural backgrounds, and all parties (and some onlookers) seemed to have a rollicking good time.

Aside from the competitive jawing on the court, it is clear that what we are seeing is a group of kids, despite differences, enjoying a game. And while the comments on YouTube stress the unique nature of seeing LDS missionaries playing ball in their black-and-white outfits ("in dress shoes wow,""wow the elder got game"), it seems that one of the challengers found the video and posted a comment. A user named Kevin Thomas wrote, "when you coming back out here man? aha I wanna rematch." We aren't sure if the rematch will happen, but at least they're still buds.
